It appears that MPs David McLean, David Clelland, Julian Lewis and Fraser Kemp decided to return to their childhood days and play hide and seek the only difference being they didnt hide and take it in turns to find each other, they hid their expenses expecting no one to find it. It appears that the freedom of information act is a brilliant liberty, it is fundamental in dealing with abuse to expenses system and any politician who ever doubts that it is needs only to engage in a game of financial hide and seek. I would like to make this call for calculated expenses being used instead of a fixed allowance, what i am advocating will determine the amount of money needed for a whole year in parliament based on the distance from an MP's constituency to westminster, the value of
their mortage on
their houses, amount of houses and petrol consumption and train tickets blah blah fishcakes and all the rest of the things payed for by taxpayers (may i say jacqui your husband didnt ask permission to use my tax to buy his "adult films") and may i add tax is too high anyway. I could go on and on developing my new expenses model but i'm just going to scrap my model and say abolish expenses outright because no matter how precise or reformed my model is it will still be open to abuse, which is why i am calling for expenses to be abolished and i will leave you this word of warning no matter what type of system replaces the current it will not work and will still not have the taxpayers permission because nothing in socialist britain has public permission.
